Beer and coffee thing...

I though this was funny. On the news yesterday they featured 2 stories; one about the benefits of drinking beer to protect yourself against colon problems; the other about coffee being found very effective in protecting the liver from cirrocis. I thought...

Hey, do both. Drink a bunch of beer to hook up the 'ol bung hole, then drink some coffee to reverse the effects of the beer on the liver. Cool

It makes sense, when you are drunk people offer coffee to sober you up.
When you are hungover you go for coffee to help start the day. (or night)
I think it is part of our genetic makeup.

I love (good) coffee... much to my chagrin my body doesn't handle large amounts of caffeine well, especially in the morning, so the only time I really drink it is after a big dinner.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Big coffee drinker here also.. I have a nice kitchenaid burr grinder for when i have fresh beans..

don't care for the flavored creams, to sweet... but i do like the flavored beans.. totally different taste.

I have bad headaches and ive been told caffeine can cause it.. so i stop for a week or so, no coffee and n0 soda and then i get a massive headache from NO caffeine... LOL

Anybody belong to that Gevalia coffee-club? The wife and I were thinking about giving it a try -- if anything to get that free coffeemaker to add to our already ridiculous collection:D

Yeah, in the movie he goes nuts because he gets addicted to coffee, or something.

I usually love will ferrel, that (and Bewitched) were really the only movies i HATED that had him in it.

Thanks for the heads up. He's one of those guys that's just funny to look at with his facial expressions and what not. Heck I even liked Elf. So he's not his usual funny self in this one?

I really like it. The free coffee maker is nice, and does what I need it to. I like handling my orders online, which even if its a little more expensive, makes it worth it to me. I'm not a coffee snob by any means, but I think its good quality, and there's tons of variety.

I guess he was his usual self, the movie itself just annoyed me. I found him funny like twice, adn the rest just seemed forced and overdone, even for Will Ferrel. I dunno, it's just a matter of taste I guess.

5/10 on IMDB and 43% on RottenTomatoes, so I guess it couldn't have been THAT terrible.
