Hows everybody doing. Need help on choosing an amplifier for my Polk LSi surround speaker system. I'm thinking about going with either Rotel amps or B&K, but now I am thinking about going for a Sunfire amp. Does anyone have any knowlegde or experience with these amps, and also maybe if I'm lucky I was thinking about going with Lexicon. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Pepi. Welcome.
I know several people here like Sunfire, but I have had no experience with that name. What I can tell you is I had a Rotel RB-1080 and then purchased a Proceed amp. There was no comparison. The Proceed won hands down. Lexicon is another great name so if you are looking to kick it up a notch, go one better than Rotel. You will really notice a difference if you plan on listening to music in 2CH. Go demo some amps if possible. Good luck.Michael

I have a Sunfire amp for my Carvers. I am happy with it. It provides enough power for those thirsty beasts. CS at Sunfire is excellent too. Anyways, I am happy. I have yet to try LSis with them, but I imagine it would be a good choice.
