Soon as I bought these, I got a chance to buy my dream speakers (Legacy Signature III's). So, these have to go. I received these (used) from Tyler himself, little more than 1 week ago. They look brand new. They are in red walnut. The pic below was taken by Ty (of Tyler Acoustics) right before he shipped them out to me:

Edit: See my new pics, six posts down...

List price on these is $4300/pr. Price I paid: $2100 shipped, $2400 w/ Model 1 stands.
Asking: $1745 shipped to USA without stands, OR $1945 including Model 1 stands

Red walnut is a gorgeous, rich finish and used Linbrooks in darker wood veneers are rare!

You can find reviews of these speakers on audiogon and other places. For example, here's a thread on head-fi with another member's impressions on these speakers:

PM me if interested.
Tannoy Dimension TD10, SOTA Star Sapphire, Heathkit W4A's, McIntosh MC2100, Eddie-Current Zana Deux, Singlepower SDS, Sennheiser HD650, Audio-Technica L3000, Sony Qualia 010

Beautiful speaks. Wish I had the spare coinage laying around. I'd really like to try out some of the smaller, hand-made speaker company's speakers, such as these, Totem, Meadowlark, etc, etc.

    Good luck with the sale.

    Thanks for the well-wishes!

I'd just like to point out that I was personally surprised by the size of these monitors when I received them. I wouldn't call these small - the Taylo Monitors are the smaller ones. You won't ever see a bigger, beefier monitor than these Linbrooks: 55 lbs each, dimensions are 22" x 10" x 15"

I meant smaller companies, not speakers. I'm not much for small speakers, though I've heard several that did have pretty decent full range capabilities.

Yep, that's pretty clearly what you meant. Apparently I have reading comprehension issues shortly after I wake up ;)

Those use the top-of-the-line Seas Excel woofers and Millenium tweeter. You won't find better drivers in speakers under $10k/pair.
