i was wondering if anybody knew if the phoenix gold octane-r 15.0:1 amplifier can power two or three subwoofers.

right now i have it running 1 xtant x1244 12" subwoofer and i was wondering if it would be possible to have my phoenix gold amp power the xtant and 2 polk 10's.
the mm2104 take 300 rms per sub so if i got 2 of those, could i have my phoenix gold amp give 300 per sub and have 900 leftover for my xtant. or 375 to each polk and 750 for the xtant or something like that.

i was just wondering if that kind of thing would work.

if that wont work, i could buy another xtant x1244 and have the phoenix gold amp power two of them, but they are expensive :x.

please help if you can
System in construction.. :)

You won't be able to send certain amounts of power to each sub, instead your amp will just run on a lower ohm rating. I would just get another xtant sub and wire the two in parallel. I've heard that it is not a great idea to mix and match subs, like the xtant and polks, because you will be hearing two different sounds since both subs are made to sound different.

Either get another xtant and use the same amp, or sell the xtant and buy two mm2124's. The PG amp should give the momos more than the required rms power, so you would have to turn the gain down.
