Operation Mindcrime Karma

Up for grabs is my old copy on CD of Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime from '88 since I picked up the remastered version when OP II finally came out about 2 months ago.

This is a GREAT album, sheer genius. One you will want to sit down for an hour to actually listen to in it's entirety uninterrupted from any distractions, and then you will want to play it again!

A concept album from start to finish even though you may have heard a few tunes like Eyes of a Stranger, I Don't Believe In Love, and Revolution Calling to name a few which were in regular rotation on MTV back in the day when they actually played music videos (remember that?).

IMO, as good in it's own way as Pink Floyd's The Wall. In fact, Queensryche sounds like a heavy metal Pink Floyd if you can imagine that.

So, why not enter, you have nothing to lose.

Have your entry in by 11:58 PM (2 minutes to midnight, as in the name of a song by another of my favorite bands, Iron Maiden) US Eastern on Friday 6/16.

Count me in - excellent Karma. Excellent band. Probably the "burliest" band I have ever seen in person. I went to them in Sioux Falls, SD and although not well attended, it was fantastic.

Bump. It is, IMO, one of the greatest rock albums of all time. I would put it up against anything else by anybody.

BTW, has anyone familar with the first one heard OM II yet? I don't think it is quite as good as the first was, but still very, very good though on it's own though.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
