How many of y'all are nerds? Do you consider yourself a nerd? Do others consider you one?

I have my own thoughts on some of you, but wanted to hear your thoughts on yourselves.

My name is Brett, and I'm not a nerd.

I think I'd have to agree with Cliff there. Probably more of a geek than a nerd. I guess carrying a pocket pc half the time I'm out gives me that little extra shove into being classified as a nerd

You can just call me the Pimp Daddy. Or Your Highness, His Majesty, Oh Magnificent One.. any of those will do.

I'm probably not too far removed from the geek/nerd category (though from a technical-knowledge perspective, I'm further removed), but I can confidently say I'm neither.

    Nerd and proud of it!
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
