As you all know I bought a 55" JVC HDILA from Sams in December. Well, we all know the issue with the bulbs going out, and my set is on 18 hours a day since my elderly mother lives with me and my family. This morning as I'm watching the news I see the picture dim by maybe 25% which is a clear indicator that the bulb is on its way out. Just before I called JVC to order a new bulb, I decide to see what else is out there. I wind up, eventually, at Sams club website and sure enough, they have the 56" model at a cheaper price than I paid. Long story short, I load my tv on my truck, go to sams and walk out with a brand new 56" model AND $200 in my pocket.:D :D:D:p
Everytime I think I'm out, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!!!!!!

Polk 70's,40,30's
Velo DLS 3500 Sub
JVC 61" HD-ILA
Sony DA4ES AVR
Oppo 981 DVD
Sony CDP-CX235 CD
Signal Bi-wires
AR ProII IC's

I like Sam's and Wal-Mart for this reason. They have no hassle returns. Some places won't give you cash even if the item was unopened and bought an hour ago with cash. They still want to give you store credit.

That was in june, last month I returned the 56" to sams, got a full refund and went to BB and bought a 61" for $150 cheaper. 3 days later they dropped the price again so I picked up another $100 on a price guarantee. Well yesterday, the last day of the guarantee, they dropped it another $200 so I picked that up as well. Total $650 cash back since Dec, $450 in the last 30 days.:D :p:D

Smart shopper! Great job Maurice! You gotta love big box stores for this reason. Try that razzle dazzle on your internet purchase.

Nice! Congrats! I have had my HD-ILA for a year now and it is almost always on as someone is home 80% of the day. While it has dimmed a slight bit the bulb is still going strong.

yep! With no questions asked. They have a policy of complete satisfaction or bring it back.

Bliss, no money made yet, but I'm trying.
