Rotel RSP-1066 Pre-Amp/Surround Processor - 9/10 - *SOLD* to Marker
This is as stated a Rotel RSP-1066 Pre-Pro in NM condition. The unit is hardcore, but may be limited in regards to inputs for those of the many source crowd. I picked this up on a trip down south and completely re-thought my HT when it came back home, but honestly didn't feel like going thru the gear/cable swap ****. The current B&K AVR does everything just fine, no need to F it all up just out of curiosity.
However, I have new respect for Rotel gear, as my body of experience was originally vintage Rotel gear, much like Adcom. I REALLY like the robust look and feel of the newer line of Rotel, it's sweet. The build quality is, as always, top notch and the interface is simple...always a plus when it comes to HT gear.
The unit is flawless and has been updated with the current software(2.26), to include, the interface cable needed for future upgrades. This is a factory cable, brand new ala $12 from Rotel.
Anyways, blah blah, here's some information....

Thanks guys! I could have used a pre-pro. The fact that it had pre-ins as well as pre-outs, is software upgradable for updates, and has dual sub outputs with an adjustable crossover as low as 40 Hz all helped to seal the deal on this one.
Another thing is that I have never had any Rotel equipment before either, so it's time to try it.
Plus, I think it just flat out looks sexy as hell too! -

You know, it's funny you mentioned that, cause this Saturday would have been perfect, but I did not find out in time for enough advance notice to put it together for everyone.
About the only Polk's I will have left anymore though are the SRT set and a pair of SDA CRS+, and I ain't about to move the SRT to bring them! -
