ASL Antique Sound Labs Wave 20 Monoblocks
Push pull 6L6 (2) with a 12AX7 driver on each amp. IEC, Binding posts. Makes about 22w continuous. Black amps with brushed silver facia. Ships with stock ASL branded (Chinese) 6L6 tubes, and JJ drivers. Great 'starter' tube gear, plug and play, easy biasing (I will bias and label the tube boxes pre shipping).
$OLD audiobliss
Dynaco ST70 Stereo Amp Modded
Push pull EL34 (Electroharmonix) with original Dynaco labled Mullard 7199's on the front end. I'll throw a decent 5AR4 in for power rectification. This amp is cosmetically 7-8/10. Very minor pitting on the chassis (camera flash makes it look much worse than it is), and a touch of rust on the cage (got most of it off, still working on it). This amp has been COMPLETELY recapped, and upgraded with Cardas binding posts and input jacks, and an IEC socket added for power cord upgrades. Sonicaps were installed in place of the Black Cat (original) caps on the driver board - but installed underneath for a cleaner look. Trannies are the original stamped with cloth covered leads. If you've been looking for a classic, completely reworked - don't let this one past you by. Solid 35 watts continuous per channel.
$475 shipped
Actual pictures tomorrow night, my camera took a dump (selling the Dynaco to pay for a new one). You can get a glimpse of the ASL here-> http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showcase/closeup.php?userid=68017&pic=238_163_big.jpg
Cheers,
Russ

Wes, I'm thick on amps, thin on preamps right now, at least as far as anything super sexy or highend. I can put you in a working, recapped Dynaco / Dynakit PAS fairly cheap - but that's it for now.

This is my LAST (personal) Dyna ST70, and when I say completely recapped, I mean it. The ASL gear is good to go, and can't be touched for the price.
Pics to follow.....Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -

That's cool, Russ. I know the Dynaco stuff has a very nice rep, but I think I need to start a little higher up the food chain after my experience with the Dared.
