Got a question for you Polk fans. I saw a pair of Monitor 7C's for sale for $250US, is that a fair price for these speakers?

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Seems a bit on the high side (by about $75-100). Need more details about condition, original boxes, etc. If it includes shipping and packing then it's not too bad a price. But unless they are new un-opened, never used; it's a high price.

Of course the market will always dictate what things sell for. There maybe someone out there willing to pay the asking price.

A fair price would be $125.

I sold a very minty set for $200 recently (not including shipping). I was happy with that price and I would not have accepted any less.

I have bought 2 pairs in the last year. One from ebay for $155 including shipping. The other from Faster100 and I think I paid either $150 or $175 for them and they were in mint condition with the upgraded tweeters, so IMHO $250 is way to high.
    Setup:
    Adcom GFA-545 amp
    Nad 1600 pre
    Dual 704 TT
    Pioneer 707 R2R
    Pioneer DV-578A Multi-format
    Polk SDA-2 Mains

personally $250 is to high no matter condition or manual/box .. it's to much for a pair of 7's $125 and below would be considered a good deal. for $250 you could get into a RTA12 or some of the smaller SDA's.

Ditto that. I paid $75 for a real nice pair of original 7's. (minus the Polk emblem on one:( )

I wouldn't take less than $250 for my 7As.....but that's just me. I kept them over my 2As. They just sound so sweet with my little Wave 20s.:)
