Nice to be back, i started my venture in HT with a pair of RT2000P and CS400 center and never looked back. Well, 15k worth of HT gear later and i miss my Polks.
My good luck has landed me a boathouse and a descent system, but i want more slam and the 2000 series is my answer since i only have a HK receiver there.

So, any ideas where to land a nice pair of my old girls? Condition is not a concern as long as everything sounds as indented. Thanks and i'll be checking out the site since Polk has changed alot since i was a regular.

Greg

p.s. i sold all 3 speakers in mint condition back in late 03 and replaced with Revel Performa series.

I don't have any 2000's, but how do you like the Revel's? I have just become a Revel dealer and am awaiting some samples.

I purchased a pair of F30s and use a M20 as a center channel. Absolutely love the midrange and overall detail of the Revels. Customer service is great and the dealer was a benefit. Only problem, i need upgraded gear upstream so probably haven't heard their full potential.
I used a NAD amp and didn't like the sound, but Rotel really makes them shine.

I'm checking ebay and audiogon.com for the RTs. Thanks!

I need to update my list of equipment since most has changed. Although, i still use the RT15i as my rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup.

So the question is why not upgrade the gear?Seems like the 2000p
is a step back for you.Not exactly known for their mids and detail

anyway, will let you know what the ex says about hers.
Crap...that means I have to talk to her.

The intitial demon system I'm setting up includes the M22's and a Bryston integrated amp. I expect this to be a good combintation as well.

The other system will utilize the Concerta system and a stanard receiver. Although the speakers will sound better with separates, they should still sound good.

I agree with Tony. I'd look into upgrading the equipment for the Revel system and wait on the Polk's.

I'm not replacing my Revels....i have a boathouse that needs plenty of slam and volume....so i'm missing the RT2000's. I know first hand what they can do and so far i'm still searching...seems this speakers is difficult to find.

I'm using a pair of Yamaha floor standers that someone gave me...nice speaker, but boy do i miss the 4 8" subs in the 2ks.

Side note: haven't heard the Concerta line, but i did listen to the Salons with a Theta Dreadnaught amp....absolute bliss...money can buy happiness!
