Now how the hell do they know what these people sounded like!!! The really stupid thing about it is alot of people will actually believe it!

TOKYO - The Mona Lisa may hide many secrets behind her enigmatic smile, but the sound of her voice may no longer be one of them, thanks to the work of a Japanese forensics expert.

Matsumi Suzuki, a forensics scientist specializing in acoustic and voice analysis, says he has recreated the voice of the woman who sat for Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, as well as that of the master himself.
No excuses!

I think she sounds like Pat Boone.
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

I don't think its that stupid..pretty fascinating actually. I guess they extrapolate the physiology and estimate the vocal qualities based on that....don't know haow accurate it would be..but it's kinda interesting.

For that to be remotely considered plausible they'd need to do several blind tests with people's face shots and come up with something to hear real vs. manufactured.

Wouldn't they just go by the anatomy? It seems that if they could determine the length and width of the vocal cords with it's surrounding dimensions and the nasal resonance they could have a shot at it?

I'd like to see this technology tested on Mike Tyson and Barry White before I believe one word of this nonsense.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
