Sub amp heat?

How warm should the amp on my SVS 20-39 PCi get when pushing it hard for longer periods of time (listening to all whole Beastie Boy's "Hello Nasty" CD)? Should I worry about it getting to hot? I can put my hand on the amp, but it's to warm to keep touching it.

I doubt that is reason for concern. Have you ever felt your HK after pushing loud for a while....yeah....if you can cook eggs on it there is a problem. warm to the touch, sit back relax

Better be safe than sorry. Just imagine you had not asked and you Eff all your gear..... if there is ample breathing room for the amp and it's warm no worries. If you have if stuffed and surrounded with old socks....you get what I'm saying
