Anyone have a definitive answer on the maximum subwoofer run before signal loss/degredation is realized? Does the type of connection matter in this discussion? What is the best sound quality as far as connections are concerned? Thanks!

i'm guessing three blocks from your house and you will notice some signal loss.
    Waaaaaaaaaaaaa!

sorry. i have no idea. but thought it was funny.

Just how far is your subwoofer out there? if it's like 20 feet or something. I dobut you'll notice any loss. it may sound off being farther away than that though.

If it's longer than 50 ft., definetly pay attention to the cable loss specifications...otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it.

Uni, at the very low frequencies involved with a sub even the thinnest of the commonly available coaxial cables wouldn't have significant losses until well beyond a hundred feet. You're right; no problem.
