Had a friend knock over one of mine and need a replacement speaker. Anybody know where I could purchase 1 (in black) speaker?

Alternatively, I will have to sell my other 1 fx/500i. I maybe will post separately in the FS forum.

Thanks!

Nate

He knocked it over and it doesn't work? You might want to email or call Polk Audio customer support by clicking the 'Contact' icon on the upper right hand side of this page. They'll be able to get you parts if it's something you can fix on your own.

If not, good luck with your search, and welcome to the forum.

yes, the magnet has fully detached from the speaker. I cannot reach it to reglue or whatever would need to be done. So I either need the speaker rebuilt or just purchase a new one (or sell the undamaged one).

Selling only ONE of these is super tough though, due to the bi/dipole nature of the pairing.

The tweeter goes back together with a twisting motion.
If it is not messed up it should just twist back together.

it's the round heavy metal object that has kind of a brownish greasy substance on it. I can't see how to open the speaker to reach into it and reattach -- any ideas?
