MIT bi-wire used as single wire?

Hey guys my neighbor gave me some extra Terminator 2 bi-wire cable he had in his garage (nice guy!). I am using them with the SDA 2A's which are not bi-wireable. Is there any drawbacks to using the bi-wire cable as a single cable?
