Dedicated Music Servers - a good option as the source?

So we've spoken a lot about CD players on this forum. So what about dedicated Music Servers? Are they a good source to have?
A good CD player from Rotel costs around $700 or if you go a little higher, you can get the Rega Appolo for around $1K. On the other hand, a good quality CD player/music server from Olive (Olive MUSICA or Olive SYMPHONY) costs around $1K.
Now the question is, is the Olive music server sound quality comparable to that of the Rotel or the Rega? If so, then it's a no-brainer, get the Olive music server and enjoy hours of high quality music without worrying about where your CD is. So how good are these music servers and how do they compare with dedicated CD players?
Now McIntosh does have a $5K CD/music server which I'm sure will satisfy all audiophiles, but are there other, not so expensive music servers that can do an equality great job as being the source?

Are there others out there?

Take a look at the Cambridge Audio Azur 640H
I think it retails for around $1400.
It uses many of the same cd player parts as the 640c, so I think it would be a good enough source on its own.
I found out about this piece last week as I conversed with a distribution rep. I'm hoping to add their line to my offering within the next few months.Tschüss
