I just noticed the link on the Monitor 60 page to the Audio Video Revolution review of the M60. Its a pretty rave review!

Im going to have to keep an eye on Tweeter for one of these sales. Id love to pick up a set of these for $180 a piece. The RTi8's are still my favorite but for $180 you cant miss!

Macleod, why do you prefer Rti8's over the 10's or 12's? I'm interested because I'd like to upgrade to the Rti series, but haven't listened to any yet.

I'm sure he was just saying he'd prefer the RTi8 over the Monitor series, and hasn't thought about the RTi8/10/12 comparisons.

I wish! All my extra cash goes into my car system. Plus, living in an apt you cant really make good use of speakers that good. Hopefully we'll be ready to buy a house next year and THEN its party time!!!

As for why I like the RTi8's better, Im talking from a "bang for the buck" perspective. I mean, if I were pooping money, Id have a set of LSI25's but I doubt Ill ever have that kind of cash lying around.

The RTi8's however arent that pricey. You can pick up a pair for $600'ish, add a good powered sub and youre set!

I'm dying to audition some Rti's, but the closest retailor is almost an hour away and I haven't made time to do it yet. Plus I'm broke and still paying off my Sub. I'm deeply infected with upgade-itus and can't stop thinking about what I want to buy next! :D
