Carver Hologram Preamp Question

On the vintage Carver equipment, can you turn the "Hologram" feature on and off with a button or something?

I'm looking at preamps for my SDAs and have confirmed that Hologram+SDA is overkill on the crosstalk cancellation and you don't get a good result.

Yes, all of the hologram circuitry is defeatable. A C-2 is a nice pre, same linestage as the C-1, w/o the hologram generator.

Carver preamps are OK but the one I had added a lot of its own personality to the signal.
