I have the TC615i's as my in-wall surrounds. They sounded pretty good until I got a separate amp, the Outlaw 7500. Now they sound fantastic. Previously I had a pair of Klipsch SB-2 bookshelf speakers as my surrounds, but I changed out everything at once, so I really can't do a direct comparison. But I definitely get a much fuller sound from these speakers now (although the amp may be the biggest factor).

I have the 615s also - they sound great and are less expensive than the TC-65s. For rear channels they excell.
