Money No Object $1000 Reunion Ticket Price

I know this isn't very realistic since the mass public, including me, doesn't have $1000 laying around to buy a concert ticket instead of food, pay bills, etc but I'm curious to see what will come up.

If money wasn't an object meaning you have a spare $1000 hidden under your Polks, what band would you pay $1000 per ticket to go see their reunion concert?

For me it would definitely be Journey but only if Steve Perry was going to be the lead singer for the whole concert.

Zeppelin or Floyd maybe Blind Melon (Though there is no way they would be the same)

I'd consider giving up my left nut to see LZ, but that would mean having to travel back in time to before Bonham died. I wouldn't give up the nad to hear LZ with a replacement drummer, but would give up some $$$.

I have hated the Eagles ever since their comeback tour because I thought the ticket prices were out of line.
If I had $1000.00 to just piss away i would go to Vegas.

If I had to spend it on a show it would be Woodstock.

My wife saw them at a club during a New Year's Eve performance about five years ago (sans TuPac, of course), and said they were awesome.

    ha!ha!ha! Couldn't resist

Dire Straits - front row seat.

I've been to a Mark Knopfler concert & paid $150 for a seat 7 rows from the front. It was un-real.

Weather Report, with Jaco on bass. And it would have to be a quaint little sitting with less than 50 people in the audience.

The question was if money was no object....not "would you spend $1,000 to see a band?"

I would have to say James Marshal Hendrix as well. I've had the privledge of seeing Plant, Page, Waters, and Gilmour already, so that leaves Jimi.

Van Halen... with DLR fronting, of course.
Saw them in '82. Awesome show.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Genesis with Gabriel, Collins, Banks, Rutherford, and Hackett. Still possible in 2008, as Phil mentioned recently.
