Ok. i'm thinking of finally subscribing to XM radio and hooking up the XRt12 to my pre amp.

I was wanting to know from someone who has their XM subscription.. if it's a month to month thing.. or if you have to subscribe for 1 to 2 yrs? Do you pay for an entire year on your credit card or do they bill you every month?

We paid for ours a year at a time just because it is easier that way however, wifey pays the bills and I do not know if it is available month to month.

I also want to get XM in the house system.

I started mine by a Quarterly plan, and I still do it this way. But with 3 radio's now XM house, Roady XT for 4runner, Alpine direct for wife's Acura TL-s I'm considering a yearly plan.

If you have enough money to buy the 3 year multi-year plan I would do that and save the extra money. They return any unused amount if you end early anyway.

    Chuck,

I wonder about the multi year plan with a Family plan? Would I be saving X on 1 radio then still paying $6.99 each for the other 2?

I heard XM offers incentive plans once in a while.

XM had a special when I signed up a few months ago: Subscribe to the family plan, and get a free RoadyXT. I didn't bite because I wanted some time to listen to XM before I signed up for another radio.

OK I did redo my account from XM, I got a 3 yrs for the first XM (XRt12) then a did a 1 yr payment for each other XM radio (my car / my wife car). Then I didn't see $90 payment every 3 months, just will have $170 each yr for the 2 other radios. So I do save a little money like $102 for 3 yrs so that cool.
