I am looking to buy a good 3 channel amp to run my center channel and surrounds. Something 150 watts or better. Prefer a Rotel, but will consider all brands.
I currently have an Outlaw M200 and an Adcom 535 doing the job now. Will do a trade type deal if interested. Thanks.

Have you thought about those Monster Signature MPA3250 that you can get off eBay for $700-$1000?
To get a 400 watts at 4 ohms for that price, I think I might get one just on the principle..I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
Hi polkatese,
Thanks for the info. I know there have been a lot of discussions back and forth about these amps. I have never heard them so I cannot comment. I like to stay away from Monster products in general. My speakers are all 8 ohm but I would prefer the power to double at 4ohm. Not sure where to go yet. My main amp is a Krell. It would cost 2k to get the same amp in 3 channel, too much for surround use imho. Thanks

Venom, if you are against Monster because of its deceptive and predatory business practices, then I understand. But, if you shy away from Monster because of the perceptive inferiority of the product, I would recommend you to rethink, since it is a rebadged Richard Marsh amp products, literally.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Hi Polk,
I do stay away from Monster because of thier business practices. I also find thier products way overpriced and hyped. I know that the Marsh amps are very good and see them at Audioadvisor. I was not planning to spend that much at first. If the amp does approach 1k, I can get an Earthquake for about that. I will keep my eyes open about the Monster amp. Thanks again.

P.S. That is a lot of money for an amp that does not double its output power at 4 ohms, especially at the retail price. The Krell would be less.
