I have a pair of rt11's and am going to be putting in a surround system. Are these speakers ok or is the technology today much better.

If they are ok what would you suggest for surround speakers to match them.

This technology is definitely not out of date. I just finished my dedicated theater this month and decided to give my new 5.1 main speakers a side by side. The RT11's sound great and there is little to be desired in the new speakers other than aesthetics and maybe a tad more accuracy but they are really close. The Polks definitely achieve a much higher sound pressure level in my room without even straining. If you are looking for a surround that matches you could do worse than another pair of 11T's. Take a look at the pictures in my listing and let me know what you think. I have lowered the price on these to $275 for the pair plus shipping. They are really nice speakers and will work great in an all Polk setup.
