Oh, it was da bomb! Jack was back to his old self -- a mean killing machine. Great TV.

So I haven't seen the previous years' episodes, so who are the Chinese fellas?

Last season, Jack basically busted into the Chinese consulate to get a guy out. In the process, the Chinese Consul got shot (and it actually aws by his own guy, but the Chinese insisted it was Jack). Once the Chinese figured it out, they said they wanted Bauer. So CTU faked his death, and he exiled to Mexico, w hich is where this season picked up. NOw that he's resurfaced, they obviously hunted him down.

I agree about the finale, Jack was back to his old self. This season kinda sucked compared to old ones, but the end was good.

I thought he was just in California. Not quite mexico. He was working in a rural part of Calafornia, at a oil place. Because he was living with that family and it took him almost no time to get to CTU.

Could be... the line is pretty blurred at this point between the two :D

I just assumed he was in Mexico because he would be hiding out of the country, that's all. I suppose if you change your identity you can "hide" anywhere.

WOW. Can not wait till next season... The Chinese, I guess, will try to interrogate Jack in order to retrieve information that will seriously compromise US national security. w/e the case is...it will be awesome i am sure.

Does Jack ever get any sleep? Jeez. He's up 24 hours a day in a very stressful job. I'd like to see him get 8 episodes of sleep.

That's another reason w hy the first season was the best - aside from the fact that most of the situations were realistic, people also got hungry and tired, like regular people do.

i agree, its got to the point of unrealism where anything can happen.
