I would be interested in knowing if it comes close to doubling its output at 4 ohms...

Yeah i had one and its not rated for 4 ohms.. I'm sure it could handle it though.

Maybe bad taste to link the same item in the sale thread.. although that's a great deal for one new :)

I will say that I like my amp. It worked well with my system and would be great for anyone with a receiver powered system that wanted to take the load off the receiver for the front channels.

$150.00 sounds fair for a price, maybe it should include shipping.

Would you include shipping for that price? For a 22lb item and depends which part of the country it gets shipped, we are talking about $20.00 plus.

I am going to list some items (as soon as I get off my lazy butt and take some pictures) and my m-282 is probably going to be among them, that is why I am watching yours to see if there is any interest.

If yours does not sell I might just keep mine for the garage.

FYI, it does not handle 4 ohm. We sell them here at work and I tried running the LSi9's off them, shut down real fast at very low volume. The LSi7's (about 6 ohm) could get a little more volume but still shut down. Not trying to discredit, just trying to inform.

It'd work great for a set of outdoor speakers!
Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.
