I am looking at a possible next upgrade for music quality purposes. Is it worth it to use heavy gauge speaker wire in place of the brass plates that connect the bi-ampable pins in the back of my RTi10's. Just need some opinions on wether it is worth it or not and any good sugestions of where to get 4 heavy duty spades cheep (<$10) at.

Some just bare wire it into the posts since you rarely need to move that wire and use bananas for the speaker wires that are more often changed or disconnected.
Just another facet of the ongoing wire debate, so experiment and report back.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

I am with Drew on this one as well. I would like to know if it is worth my efforts to swap out those brass jumpers on my RTi12's too. I am also very interested in hearing opinions of where to get those connections as well.

You might try these from Cobalt. I use Cobalt speaker cable myself on my mains and really like them, thick gauge and very flexible.
The best part is that you can choose termination types. BTW the spades are large for alot of posts, so you might ask for a different type of spade than their normal offering. They will custom make anything you want.
