Connecting tuner to receivers in parallel

I have an xm tuner in my south facing living room setting atop a receiver. I also have the SDAs and the serious audio in the man cave in the north facing basement. I intend to tee off the xm tuner outputs and send them in parallel to both the living room receiver and the man cave system.
The first two questions: Will I damage the receivers by connecting them in parallel with the xm tuner? Will there be level issues depending on whether one or both receivers are switched on?
The second question concerns the 50 ft RCA cable required to connect the tuner to the second receiver. I plan to use a single beldon cable with a pair of shielded 18 ga wires in a single sheath. The next question: Is 18 ga adequate for the 50 ft of tuner output level signal. I would think this would be a ma level signal but I have no experience with this and would prefer to do it correctly on the first attempt. Any input would be appreciated.
