Well, it is that time of year, figured I would see how many Polkies are graduating this spring. I ended my 13 years of forced education (High School) today but alas, I am returning to school in August. (Watkins College of Art and Design in Nashville, majoring in film).

Who else is leaving the old and moving on the newer and (Hopefully) better things?
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

    Congrats to all you graduates!

It wasnt long since I graduated from HS as I was part of Class 2000, but my age of 23 reminds me that I am sort of getting old.. sort of. In 2 years, you will see me post about my graduation on this site, cant wait till that day!

I'm graduating pretty soon as well. I have about three weeks of school left, then exams and I'm done. Grade date is set for June 30th with the actual grad ceremony followed by the dinner/dance and then a dry after-grad thing that goes to 6 in the morning. July 1st is Canada Day... No sleep without a lot to eat + canada day can only bring bad things ;)

I'll be taking a year off to help give me a little extra time to decide where I want to go, make some cash to pay for post-secondary and to just do some relaxing before I hit the next wave of schooling. I plan on trying to get into BCIT</a> if I can and if not I'll try for a college and then transfer from there. I think I'll end up taking either their Computer Systems Technology or Computer Information Technology course full time and then narrow things down to networking.

I wouldn't say the past 13 years have gone by fast, because they sure haven't, but it's hard to believe that it will all be over in three weeks. The first steps into the real world can be kinda scary :p

School was actually over for me May 8th, so I've been out for a little while. High school graduation will be this coming up Saturday (27th). Then I'll continue to go to Forsyth Technical Community College next year, as I have done since last summer, and then hopefully transfer to a four year college as a junior.

Amen bro... and this goes out to all you people who want to get into a grad school program - be it Medicine, Pharmacy, Opto, MBA, or Law. Suck up during your undergrad years and you can kiss Plan A goodbye.
