Some advice needed.
I picked up an Adcom gfa-555 locally dirt cheap and have it running lsi9’s, my lsic and 7’s are being run off my receiver. I’m content with powering the 7’s with the receiver since they are just serving as surrounds, but the lsic does sound a little on the flat side.

I’m thinking about picking up an Adcom gfa-535 for the center.
I would split the signal out at the receiver and input into the L & R inputs on the 535, then wire up one set of binding post on the c with the left output, the other with the right.

Would I be fully utilizing this amp by wiring that way?

Thanks,

Good choice it should work out very nicely. Then your whole front stage will be timbre matched by using the same series of amps. The 535 is a gutsy little amp.

I think it would sound good if I remember what I have read about that amp correctly.
Bi-amping the center should make it light up.
