Two PSW404s=Good?

Fellow Polkies,
I have, as indicated below, a PSW404 functioning as my active subwoofer. Yes, there are better subs out there; however, I'm bent on matching speakers for optimum resonance. I have my PSW404 currently right up against my FRONT-RIGHT RTi10, facing completely forward. I'm wondering if purchasing a second PSW404, and placing it right up against my FRONT-LEFT RTi10 would be worth while. I've read, in the forums, that this is one of the easiest, albeit not the cheapest, ways to defeat standing waves, nodes, and nulls in sound reproduction. Keep in mind that my right sub is about 1ft from the corner of the room, and my left would only have a wall behind it, not to the left of it.
In your educated opinions, is it a worth-while investment?
