only if you think you need a sub. a seperate sub will pick up where your LSi25's drop off... for some people a seperate sub is a must have.. for other's it's not that important.
do you listen to music or movies with your system?PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
Vancouver, Canada Sept 30th, 2012 - Madonna concert  -
If you use your system for movies then yes you need a good sub. Unfortunately there is not much under $500 that will provide you much improvement over just running your LSi25's.
I would say yes (for a video system not just multi channel music) you need a sub but don't worry about purchasing one until you get $750-$1200 together to purchase one. (then audition and get the best one you can for the money)

BTW - yes, I did pull those price figures out of my ****, but if you spend much less than that - there is a good chance it will be wasted as it may not provide the improvement you are trying to get.
A much cheaper option (since you have the 770 with a 5.0 system) would be to go with an IB or DIY sub and run the sub off the left over channels from your 770. If you go that route - ignore the prices listed above.......Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)
