Anyone in the area experiencing any flooding? I know the North Shore of MA and some of Southern NH is especially bad. I've avoided any flooding in my immediate area, but saw some yesterday down by the coast, and had to stay home from work today due to all the road closures.

Some good pics in the Boston Globe.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

So far I'm still dry. Hopefully my ceiling is still standing when I get home in 45 minutes from now.

Karp, I'm sure you meant "the overwhelmingly poor" and not a specific race, right?

Well demographics includes wealth AND race amongst other things, I know what I say may seem harsh. Unless someone can show me otherwise I am staying with what I say. But it isn't a generalization by any means, merely an observation of recent events. If anyone is truely hurt by the statement I will remove it, and I am Sincerely sorry if I hurt anyones feelings.

While I'm not offended, and I now know what you meant, I do think it was in poor taste to say it.

i heard on the news that it's the worst flooding in a century in the northeast. That's terrible. My sister lives in Jersey and I wish her and everyone up there the best.
