surround sound speakers
I recently upgraded my yamaha 5740 receiver to a new rotel rsx 1057, which allows 7.1.
My current speakers consist of rti8s, csi3, (2) psw303 subs and rti4s that I use as the current surround sound speakers.
My question is should I change the current surround speakers to the fxi series, or should I look into something different for the back speakers?
I am trying to think up some options. I am new to the home theater setup and I would greatly appreciate some expert opinions. My budget is under $1000.00
Thanks, from the new guy that is finding this "new home theater game to become very addictive"

Hello and welcome
What is the room like and where are you sitting in relation to the speakers? Diagrams, pics or at least measurements and the like are helpful. You may want to go with more 4s, or you may want to use the fxis. Really depends on the room.
Home theater is more addictive than crack. You haven't even begun to go down the rabbit hole yet.:pThere are two ways to argue with women. Both of them are wrong.
