Makes sense...political threads cause too much hatred to be spewed by otherwise civilized members.

What ticks me off is that they always seem to delete them right after I post a most brilliant response that pretty much wins the debate. I sense a consipriacy.

as always, i could be wrong, but to me it looked more like something that happened in the threads than the topics themselves.

the last two that i noticed seemed more like swift swooping than creeping. that's a more level headed and healthy way to go about keeping the peace than waiting until food is already flying and someone is getting banned. good job.

I am glad they do that tho. No need to crap up this forum with a bunch of heated battles and bad blood. We get enough of that in the cable debates! :D

I agree 100%. Any decent audio system does infact need cables to function. Glad I could finally put the final nail in that coffin!:p

Yes there is an audible difference between expensive and cheap cables.

When you take them up to the cashier, it sounds a lot different when he tells you, "thatll be $500 please" as opposed to when he tells me, "thatll be $25 please."

Well I just figure after you post, what else is left to say? ;)

But seriously, political discussions are off-limits on this forum. Sometimes I "look away" hoping things won't get out of hand. Although I believe the point of our rules is not to censor, but rather to keep discussions civil and appropriate for an audio forum.

being one of 'them slow liberals', as mac has often put it, i'm all for free speech and no censorship, but we did agree to their rules voluntarily when we signed up to use the forum, and the no politics one was a biggie, especially on something as touchy as (gasp!) immigration...

I don't see the problem of illegal immigration as political, but rather one of current events and national security, but hey, that's just me.
