I have a 360 and will get a Wii for sure... Zelda + Metroid for wii on launch day is ridiculous. PS3... I dont know. I don't mind paying $600, but a lot of other people do-- if the thing ends up killing sony I dont want to be stuck with one. I'm probobly gonna wait for MGS4 or FFXII to come out and see how things look.

Metroid is supposed to. Zelda certainly will, but there is a slight catch. This Zelda is actually a Gamecube game, however they heavily modified it for the Wii controller (no better graphics though... still, it looks VERY good for current gen) so they are actually releasing two versions of it... a Gamecube version and a Wii version.

Well, the Wii setup looks very cool... you actually do a string drawing motion to shoot your bow, you nudge the nunchuk to do a shield bash, and you move your remote down quickly to do a finishing blow to a fallen enemy. All things that would make it fresh.

How come the 360 is not an option in the pole? I was just wondering.

"neither, I have my 360" This is your option

If you don't have a xbox 360 yet but are planning to, select that option. I didn't want to make too many options. Another reason is because you can buy the 360 right now if you wanted to, you have to wait till november for the other two.

When I checked when zelda and metroid were coming out on IGN, zelda said 2007 and metroid 3 said TBA, that is why im confused when... maybe they didn't update their release date page?

Hopefully the newest Zelda won't suck like all of the versions since Ocarina of Time. If its good, I would buy a Wii just for that game. I still think Ocarina of Time was one of the best games and storylines I've ever played.

I'm going to get the ps3, but sure as hell not when it first comes out. My playstation 2 will hold me over, or perhaps I'll get a 360 if the price drops enough.

I'm not buying any system until I can buy their good games for a reasonable price. There is no way in hell I'm putting down $60 for a new game.

Besides, I'm not entirely sure Sony isn't going to tank over this. It's a helluva a risk and they're putting themselves financially close to the red for the first couple of years... would make it much easier for a hostile takeover to happen.

As stated in the other post, I lag about 5-10 years behind the curve. Getting re-acquainted with N64, then may buy a "Classic" XBOX.

I love when things that are only 5-10 years old are termed "classic." Like, VB 6 is "classic VB."

Hmm, wonder how many people will get that reference. Are you a developer?
