I want to thank everyone here who was so helpful and put up with all my questions. I could not have gotten this done without your help. I FINALLY got my receiver working! The CD player works along with the speakers out on the deck. I still don't have the second set of speakers hooked up in my bird/computer room (where I spend most of my time) but I will have to have someone else to do that. I would think the cables need to be run through the attic and I don't go up there!
I still haven't hooked up the new Polk's yet; they are upstairs and so heavy! I didn't want to get them downstairs only to find out it wasn't working. I do hope that after all this I'm not disappointed but I have a feeling I won't!
Again, thank you all so very much for everything you did. It was/is very much appreciated. I'm sure I will have more questions when I am able to get another piece of equipment. Even though I'm not much help; I do hope it's okay to stick around.
Sincerely,
Cindy

Congrats!
I agree with danger boy's comment about the people here. As long as the people who want help are patient and willing to work with us. It's a dialogue between lots of people and well thanks for being a part of this community.
Make sure to get all that other goodness up and running and take some pics!

Hi Brian! I just stayed with the Yamaha. I need to go into the office for a bit this evening and plan to hook up the new speakers when I get back. Been a busy day here and haven't had a chance to deal with them.
