Hi,

I'd like to get an opinion on the difference between the TC60i against TC610i speaker. Currently, I have TC610i speaker installed on my HT and thinking of replacing it with TC60i. The reason is that kind of missing a lot in terms of surround sound, if I don't stand-up on where the speaker is installed, looks like there is no sound coming from it. Also, how will it know if the surround speaker sound great, does it need to identify on when the surround sound is coming?

Is there really a big difference between the 2 performance/sonic wise? What would I be gaining if I'm going to replace it.

Appreciate any feedback.

Regards,

I have a similar setup. I'm looking for the differenct between the TC60i's and TC620i's. It appears the the 620's have a tweeter that can be directed and the 60's are offset 15% with a heavier magnet and a directional tweeter.
If you get any more info please pass it on.

I have the TC60i and like them but have never heard the other speakers. If you haven't already done it set your speaker levels using a SPL meter. When I went from the Pioneer auto setup to setting the levels with my Radio Shack meter I starting hearing more from my surrounds.
