Using A Bass Bin from a PA for a car subwoofer?

Hi, I have an old bass bin from a PA speaker set up that I used to use to bass up my old bas amp cabs. Its 350Watts, has a crossover built-in and an indepence of 4 ohm.
I've considered selling this on now as a bass speaker for a car...if it's possible to use it like that? I'm not a car guy so not sure if it is possible.
There are 2 connecters on the back. One is for the other speakers to connect into the bass bin so the crossover can work, the other connects the bass bin to the amplifer. The ends of these are speaker leads (size of a guitar lead connecter etc) so I presume these would need an adapter to fit into whatever the car uses??
Thanks! Just hope I haven't thought of an impossible/suicidal/daft idea!
