Want to buy CS2 and sell/trade my CSi3

Hello All,

I'm trying to procure a CS2 and sell off my nearly new CSi3 and would rather not deal with buying/selling on ebay, audiogon, etc. Anyone selling a CS2 interested in a trade (+ cash considerations).

When I bought my speakers from Tweeter about 3 months ago, the CSi3 was the center channel they recommended to me (as they only carry CSi's, no CS1 or CS2 there) so I bought it. After being involved in the forum, I now want the CS2 to timbre match my Monitor 60 fronts.

Hey whats up , I have a almost new Cs2 center forsale it was out of the box for approx a week and was used for one movie. I to on this forum discovered I needed the Csi5 to match my speakers so I went and got it. Not sure of a price I will have to check out how much it would cost to ship from NY to TX thats where you live. Well if interested let me know.

May be interested if new or like new. I think I can get a new one shipped for $230 or so from a couple online places (and maybe even Circuit City locally) so I would expect something lower for a used one.

I guess check on shipping and let me know what price you'd be looking for. Maybe we can work something out.

Anyone looking to unload a new or barely used black CS2? Want to sell/trade Csi3. Donedroolin (above) never got back to me and his last post was back in May.

If not, I'll probably buy one from ebay for $189, but thought I would see if anyone is selling here first.

Is the timber mis-match for your center sound minimally noticeable or does it sound way off?

I'm asking because as I switch over from the monitor series to the Rti series, I'll be doing it peice by peice and there will be lots of time during this transition that peices will be mis-matched.

I have a black CS1 that I am willing to part with. I know it is not exactly what you are asking for, but I thought I would offer. I purchased it from CC when I got my Monitor 60's. I only used it for a month or so in my HT - then I started using an CSi5 to match the SDA1b's I purchased.

Not, it's not really that noticeable at all. I just thought I may as well go for what is supposed to match it. If it sounds good now, it can sounds anything but better with the cs2, right?

I really do like the CSi3, and I don't think it would be a bad route for you to go in your pursuit of RTi setup. You are welcome to mine, if you like, I posted it on the Flea market today.

Good luck! I don't think you would be unhappy with a different timber center, temporarily.

Do you still have this for trade? I picked up a CSi25 but then found out it wasn't a macth for my RTi series.

I still have the CSi3 (and now a CS2). The CS2 is the better speaker for my system, but it doesn't fit in my current entertainment center. If you want the CSi3, let me know and I'll figure out how to rearrange things.
