I have never experienced one of these but I am in the market for a new conditioner.
I say hook it up and report your findings but that is just because I am curious.
.625 amps sounds too low for anything, I am not sure what to think about that.

I own the Panamax 5510 and at first hooked everything up to it. It is rated at 15 amps.
I noticed my bass went away but it took me a few movies to notice how much it had changed.
I read on another thread here that the wrong power conditioner can limit the reserve power available to your system. This was the case with mine.
I went home and plugged my powered subs into the wall and the bass was back.
This last weekend I plugged my amp directly into the wall but already I have problems. When the system is on and I turn off the ceiling fan I get a pop sound that comes from my speakers. I am sure this has to do with the amp not being isolated from the fan circuit.
Now I am looking for a conditioner that is built for amps.
PSAudio upc 200 was recomended F1nut in this thread
I have not had the money to buy one or two yet and I am now thinking about getting the Power Director 4.7 to replace my Panamax.

Don't waste your money on a conditioner, ANY conditioner.

Get a dedicated line, and if you feel the need to take it all the way, add a balanced power supply.

My Panamax is balanced, but it changed the preformance of my amps.
It works great with all the other components, the t.v., dvd, sat, vcr, just not the amps.

Your Panamax isn't true balanced, how they get away with claiming it is, I have no idea.

I'm talking about a straight, balanced power transformer, no circuit massaging, filtering, etc etc. 60 on each rail.

I don't have a dedicated line and was interested in his opnion for a balanced power conditioner.
I should save it for another thread.

Balanced power is 60 volts on each leg of the power cable instead of 120 comming in on the hot and the neutral having 0.
It is supposed to alternate -60v and +60v on the hot and neutral.
    I think.

Not really sure what it would be called.
Mine has a large transformer in it and when I had all components running through it, it would hum. I could not hear the hum out of the speakers just when I was close to the rack.
It says it provides balanced power but RuSsMaN says it is not.
I have read that there are many power conditioners out there claiming to be more than they are and I had hoped mine was not among them.
