Has anyone seen one of these before? I couldn't seem to find any more info on it. Looks kinda like a dictation machine, but records on vinyl. Might be fun to play with.

    That is cool, I've heard about them but never saw one before. I've seen lp blanks sold on ebay before.

    I wonder what kind of source it can handle besides the mic, if any. For less than $100 total it might be worth the risk just to get it. My major concern would be getting parts for it.

    When you buy something like that I think you take on the responsibility to make your own parts if needed. Sometimes not. Sure would be cool to play around with if it sounds like anything.

    Anyhow, Might be an acetate recorder. Kinda fun, but very unstable.
