Oleiva 26" LCD

Hey guys,
In January, I built my own gaming/work machine from scratch. Got good prices on all my components thanks to a bit of luck and a lot of haggling and stuck it together. However, after everything was built and all was good, I still found myself staring at gorgeous graphics on a 19" LCD. Now, while this is a nice size and everything, I just built a top of the line computer! I wanted everything large and amazing! So, I started looking around at some of the options available to me. The one that most people immediately note is the Dell 24" LCD, which is beautiful, but runs at around $1000: a price I didn't feel was worth it at the time.
Then I noticed Microcenter (a computer store relatively close to my house) was having a sale on Olevia 26" HD-Ready LCD Tvs with DVI inputs on it for $450 after rebates. I hadn't had a lot of experience with hooking computers up to TVs (and the few times I have, they've looked absolutely horrible), so I brought my laptop (which has DVI out) and hooked it up to the Olevia with little hope that it would look decent.
I was wrong! It looked amazing! Since then, I have purchased it and enjoyed all my games at 26" of diagonal beauty and exquisite contrast. I really like my blacks look blacks, and they do a great job with it.
The only disappointment that I have found with it is that the resolution is fairly small: To keep things 16x9, the largest my video card will support (eVGA 7800 GT overclocked) is 1280 x 720. However, in games this is easily countered by using Anti-Aliasing and Anisotrophic Filtering to make the games look even better.
Truly, this tv is a bargain. The pip is also beautiful, because I can watch tv AND use the computer at the same time, on the same monitor.

I am hoping I can find a very nice deal on this TV. I am sick of my 19" CRT for gaming.

Yea, same here. I have a Samsung 19" LCD and its..meh. I want something with pizazz. I've had my eyes on the Olevia 26" for some time. I would have my Xbox 360 and PC hooked up to it. At least 1280x720 is 720p Hi-Def.My Living Room 3.1 config:
Toshiba 40RV525U
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR609
Center channel: Polk CS1
Front L/R: Paradigm Reference Studio 20
Subwoofer: Velodyne DPS-10
Rears: None

I use samsung LCD's. I have a 3 panel display and I love it.. Its bad because when you use 2 or 3 displays you cant go back to using 1.

Sure you can - you just use a really big one. I use dual 24"s, but would gladly trade it for a single 30".Main Surround -
