brett, this might be difficult for you to understand, but not everyone wants to shoulder the heavy burdens that come along with being a member of the inner band.

besides, if i were a member of the inner band, i would be unable to reveal myself. then who exactly would come to help you if you ever do find who and his band?

jonathon, somehow i sense brett was freelancing on this one, otherwise a proper messenger and a proper message would have been sent and they would not have needed my help to get one of their members back on the reservation.

I'm certainly down for some Abbott and Costello humor on occasion, but I'm afraid that I don't have the ability to laugh at the same joke for 3 pages. Here's a toast (of Diet Coke) to letting an old joke die........good luck.

thank you mr. nightly, obviously i can not argue that i do not make stupid mistakes. but, i do try take responsibility and make things right as best and sincerely as i can. i do that willingly and don't wait for someone to tell me to if i recognize where i was wrong myself. and, i appreciate someone who points out where i was wrong or how to make it right.

i could go back and recount a number of places where i thought we were close to the point that i could stop helping brett so he could get on with his mission to threaten and humiliate members of the polk forum,.. and that all that remained was for him to at least attempt to show that his mission would not be just as mishandled and just as misguided without me.

so, respectfully, if there is anyone that can pinpoint where in this thread brett gave any indication that he was prepared to threaten and humiliate members *properly*, without my help, i would be grateful if you could to show me.

On this "inner circle" or "core", I just thank my lucky stars that it doesn't include me. What a bunch of crapola...

Have I ever told my cat story? I was an avid CB guy back in the day and the way to really annoy people was to key over them when they were talking. Do it enough and they would end up outside your door as it was a small close knit group of people in my area. Poor little kitty didn't know what to think as it was sitting in the corner looking over at the guy at the door complaining about it. He obviously saw kitty sitting there on the mic. Funny stuff. :)

brett, if you're down for abbott and costello your complaint about reruns rings just a little bit hollow.

keep trying though, my clock says you've missed being right at least once since you started with the silly threats.

heh. heh. of course since brett spilled the beans about the shadowy nature of the i-band, everyone that jumps up to assure o-banders that they weren't part of any group that would send such a silly message with such an ill-equipped messenger is going to be met with at least a little skepticism.

seriously though, i don't believe it exists either. i mean, what evidence is there other than the hysterical babblings of a mad man?

Don't worry about it Nightly........scott lacks a sense of humor and the ability to come up with more than one joke per weekend......cut him a little slack.

Let me simplify the original post for those who don't seem to quite understand.......and realize, this doesn't apply to everyone (I think that was clear originally)........

If you're acting stupid, quit it. Not sure if you're part of that segment? Search your inner self or ask a friend. This isn't picking on a single question (no such thing as a dumb question blah blah blah) but I'm pretty sure that habitual stupidity is something that people DO recognize they act out, and seek out the attention of others for it. It needs to end. We need to quit entertaining the habitual stupidity that seems to have plagued this place. There is nothing wrong with several people asking the same questions. Guide them, show them, etc etc and things will be fine. Ask the same question 25 different ways (or make the same joke 25 different times) and I'm sure you'll see that people get bothered with it. Want people bothered with you? Just tell them that's your goal from the beginning.

Inner core/cuts was a joke. A Joke....ya know, ha ha, he he........a funny. Read some past posts and you'll get it. People who have insisted on playing the eternally victimized soul in the past have created this "core" group. Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? If you're unable to process humor, drink something...........and please make it a double.

Any questions or comments on my thoughts? Feel free to bomb me with PM's if you're bothered or need further clarification.

    Have a good weekend.......punks.

i mean, i could light up the board with a grand pixel show to diagram the differences and make a few jokes that go over your head along the way,.. but i think it is just too obvious for anyone to miss and everyone is anxious for you get back to terrorizing uh,who ~ever~ it is that you meant to shape up in the first place.

scott - okay, look... i refuse to sit here and read this any longer. this **** has got to stop. i don't know if you're trying to be funny, or if you're trolling for your own personal reasons, but it needs to end now. no one is playing along, you're not amusing anyone but yourself, and if you truly belive amends need to be made for some imagined offence by anyone, at any point - despite the fact that no such offence is evident - consider them made, and be on your merry way.

i am not normally this pissed, but i have just come out of the hardest week of my life, and i come here to learn, to chill, and to be a part of a community of people that want to to the same, and reading drivel like this is not a part of that. i'm laying out my reasons here, if you have a problem with that, that's your right, and if you feel the need to argue, pm me at your leisure, but don't contaminate this place any further.

get "it" brett. what you are struggling to say is get "it".

i'll spell it out for you. i get "it" better than you do. what my problem is, is that if the innies want to send a message, they should find a point man that doesn't make them look so silly and when one of their ill-equipped messenger boys does go astray, they should have the courage to tell him to man up and make it right.

Scott, I appreciate your determination to show yourself to be more than just the leader of the "stupid" group.......really.........I do. Focus please......let go of the misunderstanding you ran with, and re-focus your attention.

While I think it's cute that you try to interpret me differently than what my words say, it should be pointed out to you that you are only proving, yet again, that you don't 'get' it. The 'it' isn't the focal point ya poor thing. The 'get' is the mental aptitude that's lacking in your group.....the inability to recognize or understand......the 'get' that I tried to communicate to you (someone a bit brighter than yourself might recognize 'understand' in place of 'get' but I don't want to complicate things for you). It is with this in mind that I bring it to you, as their leader, and see if you have better luck at explaining to your followers how they might be less than their current moronic selves.

I suppose I share some responsibility in trying to help and explain to those that have shown themselves to not be able to process their thoughts and actions, but I can't be personally held liable for every single mental **** on your groups part.

Please.......you should have spent all this time on yourself and your groups actions so you might strive to be a more intelligent mass. People here don't want to have to make fun of you people all the time.......we DO want you to show yourselves to be the intelligent shining stars like the one's you have posted next to your name on the wall.
