Not mine, though. Saw these posted on another forum and thought I'd share them. These were shot with a Canon 1DmkII and, I think the 17-40 f4L. They are post-processed in Photoshop, from multiple exposures, but IMO they look natural and not overdone.

These are in WA, BTW. I'd like to have a big print of that Seattle sunset.

I didn't want to save and repost his images, so I'm going to try and link to them. Let's see if this works

Just a run down of the mountains

    1st mountain is Mt. Hood
    2nd is Mt. Rainier
    3rd is Mt St Helens

Nice pictures. I just bought a Nikon D50 to replace my Maxxum 5 and am excited to get back out and shoot

That last picture is breathtaking! It puts you in awe of nature. Something that can be that peacful yet have the potential for a massive eruption that could destroy millions of acres of land and affect the climate worldwide!

    Very nice.

When the sun is shining and everything is green here, it is an absolutely wonderous place.

great photos of Seattle! Too many times Seattle has been drizzly with fog when I've been there. The several times that the weather was nice, it was great!

    Ever??

I thought so too, really. I just posted them to offend people and to make my own pictures, that I post occasionally, look better.

    :D

Nice pictures shepx2! Are those stitched?

    Carl:
The weather becomes intermittently good in May, but if you want a sure thing visit between July1 and mid September. We get almost no rain during that period.

If you liked the sony just wait until you get to shoot with the Nikon. I get to use a d50 at school and it's absolutely amazing. A couple days ago I saw a d70 body with the usual lens for 500 cdn and just about crapped myself... the posting was deleted after about a day :(

Hmmm. The last person who lived here that I heard say that was an Italian gentleman I know from Ny who lives here in the witness protection program.
