Looking for a good integrated, for a desktop system. Smaller is better. If possible would love pre-outs.

Looking to spend $250 max... lower is better!

Thanks guys!

How about new? I've heard this little integrated and it is pretty nice.

I've seen it from time to time on the net for $150 ±.

    From Panasonic's site:

If you are looking for used....see if you can find a NAD C320BEE. It might be hard to find one for less than $250...but it is ballpark.

That Pioneer A35R would be neat....uncommon here for sure. That's always a recipe for me.

You might want to read the spec's, as it looks to me subwoofer ready.

I dont see how it would be "subwoofer ready". All the reviews ive been reading say that thats one thing people wish it had. Either a sub out, or pre out. Im positive it has no Pre-outs.

Still very interesting though. I could always hook a sub throught the spkr level imputs.

I use B level speaker outputs for my subwoofer, perhaps you need more comfort or something easier. Good luck and happy listening.

Almost bought one of those Pioneer's for my computer set-up, but I never got a response from the e-tailer. From what I've read it should be a solid little unit especially if you can get it for around $150-175.

I don't think Pioneer Elite is close to what it was about 10-12 years ago, but for a small comp system it should do very nicely.

    H9

P.S. AMC home products have a couple real nice integrated's; the 3020 and 3050 are real nice. As well as the Cambridge A-500 (I think that's the model #) the newer Azure series is a bit more than your $250 cap. These can be gotten in you price range on e-bay or Audiogon. Also Nad C320BEE as mentioned earlier

Hmm i never thought about that. makes sense though. Would running the A and B outputs at the same time put more strain on teh amp? Or lower the watage?

Thanks for all the good sugestions guys. I should be picking one out soon.

I think ive narrowed it down to the pioneer and possibly this teac.

    http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=3668150

Both are about teh same price new. The teac has 5 more watts and pre-outs, but that isnt that critical.

If yall were gonna pick one which way would you go?

Im not sure which one i like the looks of better....

No because I assume you will be using a powered sub, therefore drawing no current from the integrated's amps.

I've never heard the Teac, but I have heard the Pioneer and I like it. For the price you would probably be hard pressed to go wrong whichever one you choose.

Thanks for all the help guys! I actually went with the TEAC last night, I really like the looks of it, and the pre-outs were a nice addition. Thanks for all your help in making the decision! I'll let you know how i like it.
