Difference in SL6000 Tri-lam tweeters?
I just got a pair of white LS/fx from venomclan, and the SL6000 tweeters look different from those in the black LS/fx that I got from Disco Mike. They are both 1996 manufacture. The tweeters in the white set look more like a powder coat, but those in the black set look like more metallic, more reflective. On the tweeters from the black set, I can see very slight concentric rings from the center to the outside, but on the white set, it is just uniform. There is no reflection in those from the white set.
What gives?

One set prolly came with a set of SRT, while the other did not.
They were slightly different. -
I have discovered the answer to my original question. The tweeters that have the duller finish are sl6500's, not sl6000's. I guess Polk used them interchangeably on the LS/fx speakers, or as Marker suggested, the sl6500 was used with the tweeters that came with the SRT speakers. I wonder if they are supposed to be superior.
