blown power light on Jolida JD 1301

I've been using the 1301 on my computer rig for about a year now (Audigy 2 ZS with RT35i's). Last weekend I tried driving a different set (800i's), and the power light went out. It still appears to operate just fine. 2 questions:

Is that light hard to replace? The blue glow has a high cool factor. While I'm not super knowledgeable about electronics, I'm game to try it (IT by trade).

Was it coincidence the light blew when I drove bigger speakers?

    I would think so. As for changing the light, with the right part it should be easy enough.
