Speaker selection opinion?
Hello everyone, I am new here and to polk audio. I have done some research and came up with these choices for my budget HT. I would like to know if there will be any matching problems? Also do you think these speakers I selected will give me an awesome HT experiance? I do want to keep it 5.1 setup.

Sorry guys I found that they do match, using search. I typed in r50 instead of
r 50 and I had more results come in. sorry again for posting.... -
Welcome Durdan!
I think you will enjoy your setup just fine.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -
FYI: Check out Fry's if you have one nearby, if not, look at outpost.com. They sometimes have great prices on the Polks. I got my R50's for $199/pr and my R15's for $50/pr. I've even seen them a little cheaper than that. I don't think you can find a better system at those prices.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

Unless you were getting a special deal, I would look for the Pioneer VSX-1015 which is the most recent in that line. It's an excellent choice in terms of price/performance ratio.
Either way, you're putting together a really soild system. Enjoy!Main theater: Paradigm Studio 100's v4 L/R, CC690 Center, ADP 590 x4 Surrounds. Dual Outlaw LFM-EX-1's, Yamaha Aventage RX-A1010 as Processor, Anthem PVA-7 Amp
Secondary System: Polk RTi 6 L/R, CSi3, Center, FXi3 x4 Surrounds, Def-Tech Supercube II, Pioneer Elite VSX-23 Receiver -

I got the pioneer for 280bucks on Ebay brand new. Is there much of a difference? Will it be able to handle all my speakers , Btw , I just need to buy the R 50's and Im complete. Thanks
