RT 1000P powered subwofer problem

I have an RT 1000P tower speaker in which the internal subwofer amplifier is not working. I have taken apart the amplifier and noticed that the internal relay does not activate when the amplifier and audio gets turned on. Since I do not have am schematic of the amplifier it is very difficult to diagnose what is going on inside the circuit. Does anybody have any ideas? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    yes call Ken at Polk Audio customer service.. and he can help you out. The amp may have gone bad.. since it's an older product.. I have heard of amps going bad on some speakers over time.
